Responsible for managing the Patient Financial Services (PFS) Department which includes: Overseeing the reception desk process to ensure efficient flow of patients, families and visitors to the reception area; overseeing the billing and collecting process to ensure accurate and timely billings and collections for inpatient and outpatient services rendered; and overseeing the registration process for efficient and timely registration/admission of inpatient/outpatient patients, and to ensure appropriate authorizations are obtained prior to services rendered.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of progressively responsible experience in related areas of similar size.
Three (3) years minimum experience in hospital and/or ambulatory surgical center patient accounts/billing management. Experience in hospital admissions and/or working with claims or eligibility areas of medical insurance plans.
Excellent leadership, teamwork, customer service, written and oral communication skills.
Strong analytical experiences with ability to create and maintain statistical indicators.
Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
Three (3) years of management or directorship experience
