Responsible for resolving billing, collection and registration issues that arise with Affinity, ePremis and any other computerized billing systems. Develops and maintains the computerized billing systems to obtain maximum performance, to include report development to meet user needs. Keeps abreast of system changes to current system and assess new products/modules that may be required due to future regulatory changes. Leads system upgrades and installs for the computerized billing systems, including project management, testing and post audit of systems. Develops training modules and trains staff throughout the hospital on system changes and any related process changes. Keeps documentation on custom changes made to system, results of testing, and system upgrades and installs. Serves as liaison between software vendors and Hospital staff from the user perspective.
