Each year the REHAB Foundation and Hospital hosts events that bring the community together to support our patients and their families:
Harry Winston's Hope Collection Bracelet
Available February 2013
Harry Winston, Ala Moana
Harry Winston, Inc., the American fine diamond jeweler and watchmaker, has selected the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific (REHAB) to be a recipient of the new Harry Winston Hope Collection™ bracelet which was developed to support leading charitable organizations throughout the United States.
As part of the Harry Winston Brilliant Futures Charitable program, Harry Winston, Inc. will donate 100% of the retail sales price* from each bracelet to seven organizations including REHAB. Each organization was chosen for its philanthropic leadership and support of local communities where Winston salons are based.
Retailing for $2,500, the bracelet will be sold exclusively at Harry Winston retail salons with 200 bracelets available throughout the U.S.
Support from sales of the bracelet in the Harry Winston Salon in Honolulu will support educational experiences, materials and supplies for patients, caregivers and family members to assist with their transition home. Harry Winston funding will also support educational programs for graduate students and clinicians.
*“Retail sales price” means monies actually collected by Harry Winston or credited to its account from the sale of the Bracelet less returns, taxes and delivery costs.

FIRST HAWAIIAN BANK-REHAB GOLF CHALLENGE
Wednesday, May 29, 2013
Hawaii Prince Golf Club
John Komeiji, REHAB Hospital, Chairman of the Board, Jean Nakanishi, REHAB Foundation, Executive Director, Sharon Shiroma Brown, President, First Hawaiian Bank Foundation, Ray Ono, Vice Chairman, First Hawaiian Bank
The 18th annual REHAB golf tournament (7th annual with First Hawaiian Bank) was held on Wed., May 30th. The day was sunny and breezy and 246 golfers, along with 55 volunteers, came out to experience yet another fantastic and successful tournament!
The tournament raised $234,483 for REHAB and our patients. We thank our title sponsor, First Hawaiian Bank, as well as all participants, donors and volunteers. Proceeds from the tournament provide scholarships for our staff and charity care for our patients in need of financial support.
We are also grateful for the support and involvement of businesses that provided the delicious food and refreshments for everyone: Armstrong Produce, Meadow Gold, Side Street Inn, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Romano's Macaroni, Papa John's Pizza, Hawaii Deep Blue, Dole Food Co., Murphy's Bar & Grill and Paradise Beverages, along with Margie Yoshioka and her band of volunteers and donors who provided the onolicious turkey and ham sandwiches. Of course, the golf tournament would not be complete without the spam musubis and we thank Gloria Gainsley and her volunteers for coming out early Wednesday morning to prepare these.
