Audrey Torres, CRRN
Senior Vice-President, Patient Care Services
Audrey Torres is Senior Vice-President of Patient Care Services. She is responsible for providing patient centered care amongst our inpatient and outpatient team members.
Torres joined REHAB Hospital in 1993 as a Nurse Clinician and in 1994 transitioned into Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS). She excelled in the CNS role as she managed infection control, code blue team, inpatient wound program, tracheostomy weaning and advanced nursing competency.
Torres expanded her role in 2005 to Director of Nursing which included management of Central Supply, Laboratory Services, Pharmacy, Radiology and Nursing. In October 2007 she was promoted to Vice-President and Chief Nursing Officer. In 2011 her role and responsibilities were advanced to include inpatient and outpatient therapy departments and she received her current title as Senior Vice-President of Patient Care Services.
Prior to joining REHAB, she held RN positions at Kaiser Permanente Hawaii, Queen’s Medical Center and Prime Care Home Care Services. Torres holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree of science in nursing from the University of Hawaii. She received her wound care nurse specialty from the University of New Mexico in 1998.
