Shelby McDonald, OTR
Clinical Supervisor, Inpatient Therapy Services
Shelby McDonald is the clinic supervisor for inpatient therapy since 2007. She is responsible for staffing and clinical operations of REHAB’s inpatient therapy clinics. Shelby attended the University of Puget Sound in Washington State, receiving her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Occupational Therapy and a minor in Psychology in 1996. She completed her first internship at one of our outpatient clinics - REHAB at Aiea. In 1997, she became a REHAB team member as a Staff Occupational Therapist based on the Brain Injury unit. Shelby received her Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) certification in 2000 and completed Advanced NDT training courses in the Upper Extremity and Forced Use courses. Shelby also has worked as an Occupational Therapist in the acute care, skilled nursing and home health care settings.
