REHAB Hospital of the Pacific (REHAB) has hired Cheryl Kozai, RN, FACHE, as its new Vice President, Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer. Kozai has 18 years of experience in nursing leadership, strategic planning, business development, practice management and healthcare finance. As a seasoned healthcare nursing professional, she will focus on efforts to continuously improve REHAB’s continuum of care and benefit the organization’s patient care quality and return-quicker-to-home outcomes.
“Cheryl has been a respected leader in healthcare operations, with a successful record of project management,” said Stephanie Nadolny, REHAB President and CEO. “We are pleased to have her join our team to continue fostering a collaborative and supportive environment to benefit our patients.”
Kozai comes to REHAB from Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center, where she formerly served as the Senior Director of Integrated Health Services. She also previously worked as a Hawaii Pacific Health Medical Group director and Outpatient Services Director for Pali Momi Medical Center.
In her role at REHAB, Kozai will oversee inpatient and outpatient therapy,clinical support teams and nursing services. She will implement and monitor nursing standards to ensure quality, interdisciplinary and integrated care.
